The Importance of Expert Fitting
To look good and feel good, it’s essential that a bra is exactly the right size. What’s more, it must support you properly. Since there are no muscles in the breasts, they need constant support, not just during sports or other strenuous activities. Yet so many women buy their bras guessing at their size and without trying them on or seeking expert advise. No wonder the result is often a disappointment. The most common complaints are straps slipping off the shoulders, the back riding up, wrinkled cups, not to mention uncomfortable chafing and unsightly bumps and ridges.

It takes an expert eye to find the size and style that will make the very best of each woman’s figure. It also required in-depth knowledge of the wide variety of bras now available. Although manufacturers use what appears to be standard sizing on their labels, every bra is in fact slightly different. This means that a particular cup size in one style may not give you the right fit with another style or manufacturer. For this reason, our fitters use actual bust measurement as a guide only. The sizing of the bras they suggest may differ according to style and manufacturer.

How to you add up?

There are several ways of measuring for a bra size. Here is a simple and reliable guide:

  1. With a bra on, take a snug measurement around chest, at underarm level. If it’s odd, add one. That is the BAND Size.
  2. Take a loose measurement around the fullest part of the bust. This is your BUST Size.
  3. Subtract Band Size from the Bust Size. A one-inch difference is an A, Two is a B, and so on.
